The Alkaline Diet

The alkaline diet can be thought of a health enhancing eating plan. The diet is based on the idea that some foods; such cause our bodies to produce acid, which can have some negative effects, while other foods are more alkaline which helps protect the body.
The alkaline diet consists of highly alkaline foods; such as fresh vegetables, fresh fruits and lean plant-based sources of protein.
