    Meditation can help reduce severity of stress. When we practice meditation we are forced into “down time”, a time to rest both physically and mentally. Meditation also directly improves our nervous system. When we meditate, we reduce our body’s production of stress chemicals such as cortisol.
  3. Most of us feel sleep deprived. We feel like we do not get enough sleep and as a result are constantly tired. For most us, it is our stress keeping us up at night. Our brains just don’t want to turn off. Meditation dramatically improves our stress levels, which improves the quality of our sleep
